An update on where things stand with the Jeffersonville Township Public Library and the Clarksville Branch Library:
Beginning June 15, both branches will re-open for Grab and Go Services during normal business hours. Patrons will be asked to find what they need and leave.
Beginning July 6, our hope is to return some chairs back to the tables and floors, but will see what the governor is recommending at that time.
Thank you for bearing with us during these unique times, and we will make sure to keep you posted on any updates we receive!
March 18, 2020 Update
It is with great sadness that in order to limit the spread of COVID-19, the Jeffersonville Township Public Library will be closed from Wednesday, March 18 to Monday, April 6.
We know this is a crazy time, and things are changing day-to-day, but we feel this is the most appropriate action to take to keep both our employees and visitors safe.
March 9, 2020 Update
We currently have library-wide plans implemented to keep both workers and patrons safe. In addition, each department is attempting to eliminate “touch-points”. Also, as we would every day, we encourage all guests to wash hands frequently, cover up coughs, and stay home if you’re feeling sick.
By working together, we can do our part to limit the spread of the COVID-19 virus, or any other flu-related illness.
