The Lunch Bunch: Lunch & Learn @ the Library

Terry Chambers, author of Rose Island: An Almost Accurate Account of Days Gone By, a historical fiction, will be our special guest for our Lunch & Learn. A free buffet lunch, courtesy of Hillcrest Village, will be served prior to his presentation. So come on by, grab some great free food, and hear all about the lost world known locally as Rose Island.

Bi-Monthly Gardening Class: Planning Your Spring Flower Garden & Seed Giveaway

Join us as we welcome a special guest, Master Gardener Karen Bryant, to speak at our bi-monthly Gardening Class! Karen is the owner of Bloomin’ For You, a business that creates and maintains flower gardens. She will be here to discuss spring garden planning, and will share online resources to help in the process. Following her presentation, there will be a seed giveaway, courtesy of Sunnyside Master Gardeners.

Mother Goose on the Loose

It’s storytime! On three separate Wednesday’s during January (16, 23, 30), there will be a Mother Goose storytime for babies and toddlers under three with their caregivers. Stop by with your kiddos, listen to a story, and explore what your local library has to offer you and your children!

Artist Reception

Join us for a special art reception, where we will recognize and celebrate the art of Kevlen Goodner during his Draw Harder Tour 2019. Kevlen’s collection covers some of the illustration and character design work, with examples of both commercial and private commission work in varying mediums. Light refreshments will be served.
